You can probably make out the family resemblance between this and another image. About a month after my first experiments with the Mandelbrot V2 I ended up revisiting it with slightly different orbit parametrizations. I realized only later that the orientation of the images was the same since as I was working on this one my eye was more drawn to the outlines of a suspiciously rectangular luminous volume. This glowing jewel happens to be the region with the most stable orbits. Having grown accustomed to the tightly wound stable orbits of the Buddhabrot this came as somewhat of a surprise.
