An orbit smear of a period-5 oscillation which exhibits both stable and unstable dynamics. The stable oscillation acts as a prototype for the unstable "echoes" that are repelled out of equilibrium and eventually diverge into infinity. Instead of being in its usual place, the pole at infinity has been placed onto the left side of the image using a Möbius transformation.
