Buddhajulia
Per-pixel averaging reveals the otherwise very faint Julia set shadows surrounding the more stable orbit dynamics of a "Buddha-disk". The orbital disk consists of seventeen primary minibuddhas each with their own seventeen-pointed spires, and each itself a petal of a central seventeen-leaf central flower. The largest minibuddha is centered on zero which also connects the center-points of the two primary Julia regions. An array of smaller minibuddhas can be seen growing along the stems.
The initial values of c are sampled over a region making the Julia echo appear blurred as the chosen samples all have slightly different Julia sets. As with the whole Buddhabrot, the heads of the minibuddhas represent the bifurcation of the orbit pattern into a pattern with a period double that of the original.
